The Lodge at West Hills Animal Hospital offers pet boarding, daycare, and professional grooming right here on the West Hills veterinary campus on Long Island. Dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, hamsters, and rabbits are all welcome at The Lodge, where comfort, safety, and personalized care come first.
Our trained staff provides round-the-clock supervision, with veterinarians on-site 24 hours a day to ensure every guest receives attentive, compassionate care—whether they’re staying for the day or for an extended visit.
Boarding Options and Amenities
Boarding your pet at The Lodge means peace of mind for you and a fun, stress-free stay for your pet. Our facility is climate controlled and designed for both comfort and safety. Guests enjoy frequent walks, playtime, and plenty of affection from our attentive team.
We also offer specialized boarding for pets with medical conditions. Medical boarding guests stay under close supervision in our hospital’s treatment area, where they have their own team of dedicated attendants. This service is ideal for elderly pets or those recovering from surgery, illness, or managing chronic conditions. Our team is trained to administer medications, monitor health changes, and adjust care as needed, so you can travel with confidence knowing your pet is in experienced hands.

Holiday Reservations and Cancellations
Holiday minimum stays and rates apply for select times of year, including major holiday weeks. A 50% deposit is required for reservations during these periods.
- 7+ days before reservation: 100% refund
- 2–6 days before reservation: 50% refund
- 48 hours or less: Deposit is forfeited
