Dr. Gayatri Dhavan brings a unique perspective to veterinary care as a bi-racial veterinarian who grew up in both India and the United States. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, going on to complete a rigorous one-year internship at VERG Brooklyn, where she gained extensive experience in emergency and specialty medicine. Since then, Dr. Dhavan has practiced in Brooklyn and Atlanta, and she now calls Long Island, New York, home.
Dr. Dhavan has a particular passion for Internal Medicine, Neurology, Geriatric Care, and Feline Medicine, areas in which she continuously deepens her expertise to provide the highest level of care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, watching football, and scuba diving, as well as spending quality time with her children and her two beloved cats, Oreo and Furlafel.
