Veterinarian

Dr. Boccia earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He began his career working in both general practice and emergency care in Brooklyn before relocating to Long Island to focus on general practice.

In addition to treating dogs and cats, Dr. Boccia has a long-standing interest in exotic animal medicine. For over 20 years, he has pursued advanced training in the care of birds, small mammals, and reptiles, expanding his ability to serve a wide range of companion animals.

Known for his thorough, compassionate approach, Dr. Boccia prioritizes the comfort and well-being of every patient. He believes in strong communication with pet owners to ensure that treatment plans reflect the unique needs of each pet—medically, physically, and emotionally.

A dedicated animal advocate, Dr. Boccia has adopted numerous rescue pets over the years and actively supports animal welfare organizations. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their beloved Labrador mix, Harley—an affectionate rescue from a high-risk shelter.
