At West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center, our emergency team is here to support your practice by providing 24/7 care—every day of the year. We see ourselves as an extension of your team and are committed to delivering the same high standard of veterinary service your clients expect from you. It’s our privilege to care for your referred patients with the expertise and compassion they deserve.
If a client seeks immediate care during regular business hours and lists your practice as their primary veterinarian, we’ll encourage them to contact you first to determine if their pet can be seen at your clinic.
While a patient is under our care, we will provide timely updates and ensure you are kept fully informed throughout the course of treatment. It is never our intention to replace the trusted bond you have built. We are here to support it.
All referred clients are asked to sign an agreement stating that their pet will not be seen at our facility for routine wellness services. Following each appointment, we promptly send a full summary of findings, treatment recommendations, and any imaging or lab results directly to your practice.
If a patient may require advanced procedures such as surgery, ultrasound, or endoscopy, we will make every effort to contact you in advance to review the case and honor your preferences for case management.
To help us serve your patients more effectively, please provide recent medical records, radiographs and relevant lab work by email, fax or directly through the client.
We are honored to support your practice and your patients with the highest level of emergency care.
