Jennifer Sorowitz

Dr. Sorowitz earned her BA in Biology from Swarthmore College and her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. A native New Yorker, she has practiced small animal medicine in Queens and Nassau. Jennifer has a special interest in internal medicine, focusing on diagnosing and treating challenging cases, and enjoys collaborating with her team to help pets stay healthy and happy members of their families. She places great importance on client communication—whether calming owners during stressful illnesses or emphasizing education and preventive care to promote long, healthy lives. Certified in Low Stress Handling, Jennifer uses gentle techniques to keep pets comfortable during exams.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys baking creative desserts for family and friends. She lives in Queens with her husband, daughter Isabella, and their three cats—Dexter, Jax, and Tyrion.
