Sheila Nunez

Dr. Nunez grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Studio Art from Queens College. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical training at Auburn University.

Dr. Nunez has a strong interest in general medicine, routine surgery, and dentistry, and is committed to delivering thoughtful, high-quality care to her patients.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Nunez enjoys reading (often juggling multiple books at once), watching movies, and spending time with her partner. A certified scuba diver, she has even explored the waters around St. Kitts during her time in veterinary school.

Her beloved pets include Baby Leo, an 18-year-old cat, as well as Jax and Bubbles (dogs), and Xavier and Leah (cats).
