I wish there was more than 5 stars to give this place. Drove all the way down from the Bronx at 9pm at night. Wanted to get a second opinion because a vet was trying to get surgery done on my 3 year old baby. Dr. Jordan Sauer reassured me that my dog didn’t even need the surgery. It was a great relief. The staff was so kind and reassuring. I was out in about an hour. They even called the next day to check up on how she was doing. Definitely worth the drive and will be recommending anyone to this place. I myself will be coming back for any future emergencies. Thank you guys ! My baby is feeling better than ever

They took my new puppy right away for her checkup. They called us in the car informing us of everything they were doing. They set up a vaccine schedule for her as well as going through the process of explaining the training of a puppy. They called when we got home to make sure she was ok with ride home. A Parvo Scare in Deer Park: Speed of Diagnosis Changed Everything

A Deer Park family adopted an eight-week-old puppy and noticed something was wrong within the first week bloody diarrhea, extreme lethargy, and no interest in food. Their adoption rescue had vaccinated him, but the series was incomplete. They came to West Hills at 10pm on a Friday. The in-house parvovirus test returned positive within 15 minutes of arrival. IV fluids, anti-nausea medication, antibiotics, and nutritional support all began immediately. The puppy spent four days in the ICU. He pulled through. Survival rates for parvovirus improve significantly with every hour that treatment is not delayed. The Deer Park rescue now partners with West Hills for all after-hours puppy emergencies.
